Reactive dog training
For dogs who lunge, bark or fixate, and owners who would like to enjoy walks again.

Walks you enjoy again
If walks have become something you plan around, you are not alone, and your dog is not a lost cause. Crossing the road early, walking at odd hours, avoiding the café you used to love. Most of the families who come to us have been living like that for a while.
Reactivity is usually a dog that does not know what else to do when something worrying or exciting appears, so it does the loudest thing available. Some reactive dogs are anxious and some are simply over-excited. Both are very workable.
Charlie starts by understanding why your dog reacts, then builds calm, focus and neutrality step by step in real places, with you holding the lead. More commands rarely fix reactivity. A clear plan that the whole household follows does.

A calmer dog, a calmer you
- Walking past dogs, bikes and people without a scene
- Settling at a café table while you have lunch
- Coming back when called, even when something interesting appears
- Feeling confident on the lead again, rather than on edge
- A dog you genuinely enjoy taking out
Questions
What counts as reactivity?
Lunging, barking, spinning or fixating when your dog sees other dogs, people, bikes or traffic. Some reactive dogs are anxious and some are over-excited. Both are very workable.
Is it something I have done?
Rarely. Most reactive dogs simply never learned what to do instead. We will show you exactly what to do, and why, so you feel confident on every walk.
Will my dog be able to come to cafés and busy places?
That is the goal for most of the families we work with, and it is what we build towards: a dog who settles calmly wherever you take them.
Where does the training happen?
In the real places your dog finds hard: your street, the park, the village. You will hold the lead from the start, so the progress belongs to you.
How much does it cost?
Every programme is bespoke, so your price is confirmed after your consultation, once Charlie has met your dog.
The walk you used to enjoy is closer than you think.
Tell us a little about your dog and Sophie will be in touch personally within one working day.
