Dogs you can take anywhere
That has always been the idea. A dog so settled you can bring them to lunch, the office, the school gate or a friend’s house and barely notice they are there.
We built Houndwell for owners who want more than a few sessions and a handout. Private, personal training that is properly invested in every dog we take on, and support that carries on once the programme ends.
We work with a small number of families at a time, so every dog gets our full attention and every result is one we are proud of. Some of our clients are well known. All of them get the same care and the same discretion.

Charlie
Charlie does all of the training, one to one, at your home and in the places your dog actually goes. You will never be handed on to a junior trainer.
The method is balanced: clear, fair and calm, with no shouting, no gimmicks and no dominance. Dogs learn what is expected of them, and owners learn how to keep it that way.
Sophie
Sophie looks after everything else: your consultation, your programme, puppy sourcing and anything you need along the way. When you contact Houndwell, it is Sophie you will hear from.
Her background is in luxury client service, and she runs Houndwell the same way: personal, organised and discreet.
Cheshire and the North
From January 2027 we are based in the North West, settling near Knutsford, and we work with families across Cheshire, Manchester, the North East and the rest of the UK.
