Questions and answers

The things families ask us most often.

Training

If your question is not here, apply for a consultation and Sophie will answer it personally.

How much does training cost?

Every programme is bespoke, so the price depends on your dog and what you would like to change. Puppy programmes start from £3,000 and programmes for adolescent and adult dogs from £3,840, including VAT. Your price is confirmed after your consultation.

How long does a programme take?

As long as it takes to get the result, and no longer. Most families work with us over several weeks, and you keep our support once the programme ends.

Who will train my dog?

Charlie, every session. You will never be passed on to a junior trainer.

What kind of training do you use?

Balanced, calm and consistent. We reward what we want, set clear and fair boundaries for what we do not, and never use dominance or intimidation. The aim is a dog who chooses to get it right.

What ages and breeds do you work with?

Puppies, adolescents and adult dogs of every breed and size. Large and powerful breeds are very welcome.

Where do sessions happen?

At your home and in the places your dog actually goes: your street, the park, the village and the cafés you would like to visit together.

Behaviour

Can you help with reactivity?

Yes. It is one of the most common reasons families come to us. We work on the cause, not just the lunging, so walks become something you enjoy again.

Can you help with resource guarding?

Yes. We put safety in place from the first session, then rebuild trust around food, toys, space and people.

Is my dog too old to change?

Very rarely. Adult and older dogs learn well with the right structure and a clear plan.

Puppies

Do you source puppies?

Yes. Sophie finds and vets the right breeder and puppy for your home, introduces you, and supports you through the first weeks. Puppy Guidance starts from £1,140 and Full Puppy Sourcing from £3,000, including VAT.

When should puppy training start?

As soon as your puppy comes home. The first weeks are when habits form, good and bad.

Getting started

Where are you based?

From January 2027, the North West, settling near Knutsford in Cheshire. We work with families across Cheshire, Manchester, the North East and the rest of the UK.

Do you work with high-profile clients?

Yes, and discretion is part of the service. We never share a client’s name, home or dog without their permission.

How do I start?
